Above-normal temps continue this week with only minor fluctuations
We have a weak cool front sweeping across Minnesota Tuesday into Tuesday night. Temperatures will be cooler Wednesday and Thursday but still above normal. 
Above-average temperatures will continue this week with abundant sunshine. However, red flag warnings remain in effect for parts of northwestern Minnesota due to elevated fire risk.
Mostly warm and dry all week
Overall, a warm and dry week is in store for Minnesota. A weak cool front Tuesday will touch off isolated showers north.

Sunday’s warmth and sunshine set the tone for what many can expect for much of the week ahead.
Endless sunshine Sunday with warmer temperatures
Expect endless sunshine and warmer temps in the 70s, with 80-degree readings for the Red River Valley. This pleasant weather pattern will stick around into the workweek, bringing more sunny skies and mild conditions.
Quiet and clear skies ahead
Expect a stretch of quiet and calm weather as high-pressure settles in across the region. The skies will remain mostly clear throughout the day and night, with little to no cloud cover expected.
Solid start to the weekend with seasonal temperatures
Weather-wise, our first weekend in May is going to be picture-perfect. Seasonal temperatures return, with highs in the 60s and sunny skies. Sunday will be even warmer, as 70s return across the state.
Cooler Friday with lingering cloud cover. Weekend warmup ahead
Friday begins with lingering cloud cover and cooler temperatures. Skies will gradually clear from west to east, but highs will struggle to rebound, remaining in the upper 40s to low 50s. A much warmer and sunnier pattern is on the horizon with highs climbing into the 70s over the weekend.
