The Minnesota Twins made it official Friday. The team's Twin Cities radio broadcasts will come back to WCCO-AM 830, which had aired games for the club's first 46 seasons from 1961 to 2006.
The NFL's COO said Super Bowl LII will benefit the region economically, but the bigger boost will be to the Twin Cities image --- whatever the weather may be.
Paul Molitor has won the American League Manager of the Year award after his Minnesota Twins became the first team to make the playoffs following a 100-loss season.
"We are releasing this today to help Minnesotans and visitors plan ahead," said Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee vice president of operations and logistics Kyle Chank on Monday.
