North Shore braces for Round 2 as clipper system brings heavy snow
The North Shore is preparing for another burst of winter weather as a fast-moving clipper system is expected to bring accumulating snow and gusty winds Tuesday. The heaviest snow totals are expected along the Lake Superior shoreline.
Midweek snowfalls, roller coaster temperatures this week
Monday will be cool again, but temperatures will warm briefly Tuesday and bring some snow showers. It will cool off again midweek before warming back up. 
Overnight chill followed by a cold Monday, snow chances Tuesday
The coldest air of the week settles in today before a fast-moving clipper system brings light snow chances and another round of temperature swings across the region.
Below-normal temperatures persist into midweek
A persistent northwest flow pattern will maintain cold and mostly dry conditions across the Upper Midwest through early next week before a more active midweek weather setup develops. A warming trend is expected to take shape toward the end of February.
Below-zero wind chills Saturday night; flurries possible Sunday
Wind chills are expected to drop below zero overnight as colder air settles in and northwest winds remain brisk. Temperatures rebound Tuesday, but the warming trend will come with renewed chances for light snow, especially across northern parts of the region.
Chilly, calm conditions expected this weekend
A chilly, quiet weekend is expected, with temperatures below normal. A more active pattern returns by midweek with multiple clipper systems.
