Areas of fog Friday morning are again being replaced with sunny, hot and humid weather.  The Twin Cities is under a heat advisory through the afternoon, and northwestern Minnesota will see a few showers and storms move in by evening.
Heat and high humidity continue through the holiday weekend, while chances for showers and storms increase over the next few days.
It’ll be a warm Fourth of July weekend, with many rain-free hours. Scattered weekend showers and thunderstorms are possible. We have your weekend forecast details.
Rain chances are spotty Friday. Saturday and Sunday bring more scattered chances for showers and storms, especially for northern Minnesota Saturday and statewide Sunday.
Widespread areas of fog Thursday morning will be replaced with sunshine and hot weather.  Humidity also remains high, prompting a heat advisory for the Twin Cities metro area.
All of Minnesota had a hotter than average June, but precipitation was much more hit and miss. Now July is also starting off hot and humid, with above average temperatures into next week.
Showers and storms become more isolated through the rest of Wednesday. Drier skies and hotter weather return Thursday, and the heat continues through the holiday weekend.
A broad area of showers and storms are moving across the state Wednesday ahead of a cold front, but the front does not provide much temperature relief. Warm and muggy conditions continue.
Another round of showers and storms is poised to move across Minnesota, but with less extreme rainfall totals than recent storms. Hot and humid weather carries us well into the start of July.
Occasional periods of showers and storms continue across Minnesota, with more widespread rain Wednesday.  Then an extend period of heat and humidity begins.
