It's primary election day in Minnesota. Sprinklers now installed in all Minneapolis public housing

It's primary election day across the state. Polls are open until 8 p.m. for voters to determine which candidates they want on the ballot in November's general election. And the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority has announced it has met its goal of installing fire suppression systems in every public housing complex.

Tuesday is primary day in Minnesota. Suni Lee comes home to St. Paul

Tuesday is primary day in Minnesota, and voters will decide who moves forward in 22 races for the Minnesota House of Representatives, as well as the U.S. Senate race and a handful of U.S. House races. And Olympic champion Suni Lee returned to the Twin Cities Sunday after winning three medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Higher rainfall, lower gas prices in Minnesota this year

Many parts of Minnesota have already surpassed their annual average rainfalls, and some heavy precipitation this week only added to that. And gas prices in Minnesota are lower this summer than one year ago.

I-35E construction closures begin. Fort Snelling State Park reopens after flooding

Construction will close parts of Interstate 35E for two weekends starting Friday night. And after being closed for more than a month due to river flooding, Fort Snelling State Park in the Twin Cities is open again.
