A gray and foggy start to the weekend will give way to mild late-December temperatures Saturday, but much more impactful weather is waiting just around the corner.

Temperatures will be nearly steady Tuesday and cooler, but still above normal for southern Minnesota. More melting is on the way Wednesday through Saturday.
