After some early morning showers and thunder, clearing skies will heat things up. Highs will be near 90 again in the south, but a cool front is sweeping across the state.
Blustery south winds continue to blow in warmer, more humid air. Northern and western Minnesota will see scattered showers and thunderstorms overnight and what’s left will drift southeast across the state.
Expect some midday sunshine Tuesday after scattered showers clear. Thunderstorms will pop up again late in the afternoon. Temperatures heat up again Wednesday and Thursday.
Some showers and thunder are possible Tuesday with temperatures warming up into the 70s and 80s across the state. Heat builds back in Wednesday bringing many spots close to 90 again.
Late June warmup is beginning. Expect scatterings of showers and thunderstorms into midweek. Then more seasonable temperatures for Friday and into the holiday weekend.
