Cooler weekend ahead with a chance for light showers
Expect cooler conditions this weekend with temperatures running 10 to 15 degrees below average. Look for occasional peeks of sunshine but also isolated rain chances on Saturday. A warming trend early next week will bring temperatures back closer to seasonal norms.
Chilly and windy Friday, brighter this weekend
Cool air is reinforced behind Thursday night’s clipper system. It also comes with wind. We should see more sun this weekend, but temperatures remain below normal until next week. 
Clipper rolls in with rain, thunder and a fall-like chill
A clipper system will bring widespread showers and a few rumbles of thunder across the state, ushering in cooler air to close out the week. The weekend will stay cool but brighter, with more sunshine in the forecast.
Cool Thursday with more rain developing
After a chilly start, clouds will increase Thursday morning with rain developing later in the afternoon into tonight. Friday will be chilly before sun returns this weekend. 
Coldest night since May tonight with more rain late Thursday
Temperatures tonight will the be coolest yet this season. Lows will range from frosty north to the 40s south. Clouds increase Thursday with rain developing late in the day into Thursday night. 
Cooler and windy with lingering spotty showers Wednesday
Much cooler air has settled into the state. The cooler-than-normal temperatures persist into the weekend. We’ll see some lingering spotty showers Wednesday with more showers late Thursday.
