Chilly Thursday, clearing; 50 returns Saturday
After a few flurries and some early morning drizzle in southeast Minnesota, it will be dry Thursday but we’ll be slowly kicking out the remaining cloud cover through the day. It may not be until sunset that we see the sun in the Twin Cities and southeast Minnesota. Temperatures will mainly be in the 30s.
Brighter days ahead: 50s return this weekend
Temperatures will be near to slightly above average this weekend.
Wintry mess Wednesday; 50 for the weekend
After a wet and icy night, snow will continue to fall Wednesday in northern Minnesota. In southern Minnesota, rain showers and wintry mix turn to snow showers Wednesday afternoon. Warmer temps are on track for Saturday and Sunday.
2-part storm brings rain, ice and snow to Minnesota into Thursday morning
This one is essentially a two-part weather system that will bring moisture to most of Minnesota. Let’s break down the scenario for what we can expect through Thursday with our next weather system.
Midweek mess on the way: Rain south, ice and snow north
A windy, milder Tuesday gives way to evening rain. Most will see highs in the 40s. Rain may turn to ice north of the Twin Cities. Snow will fall across northern Minnesota Tuesday night into Wednesday. Warmer air is still on track for the weekend with highs near 50.
Spring storm brings rain, ice and snow Tuesday night
Temperatures aren’t as cold to start thanks to cloud cover. Despite the clouds, Tuesday will be warmer, as strong southeast winds blow and warmer air moves in. Rain showers arrive late afternoon with snow northwest and freezing rain potential developing across central Minnesota overnight Tuesday night.
Complex storm this week leaves unanswered questions
Minnesota’s next inbound storm system this week looks messy on the ground, and on the forecast models.
Milder Monday; rain, snow arrive late Tuesday
After another cold morning early Monday, Minnesota should see temperatures inch closer to normal Monday afternoon with highs in the low 40s south, 30s north. Rain and snow arrives late Tuesday into Tuesday night. Next week, 50 degrees should return again for many.
