Much more pleasant and brighter Wednesday
We enjoy a break from the wildfire smoke Wednesday and the sun is back thanks to high pressure. Highs will be mostly in the 70s. Shower chances increase heading into the weekend. 
Record smoke front slams the Twin Cities and much of Minnesota
A smoke front from Canadian wildfires produced some of the worst air quality readings on record Tuesday morning. Air quality will improve overnight and Wednesday.
Lingering showers south and cooler Tuesday
Clouds and scattered showers linger in southern Minnesota Tuesday through midday. Sunshine is back Wednesday with highs in the 70s for the rest of the week. 
Stormy Monday afternoon may bring severe weather
A stormy Monday afternoon and evening is on tap, with the chance for severe weather primarily across western Minnesota. A cold front moving through the region will spark showers and thunderstorms, some of which could produce large hail and damaging winds.
Hot, hazy Monday with storms developing west
It’ll be hot, windy and hazy Monday. Highs will be near 90 degrees with storms developing west ahead of a cool front this afternoon followed by cooler air. 
Mild temperatures overnight; Hot and stormy on Monday
Mild temperatures expected Sunday night, with highs ramping up into the 80s and 90s on Monday. A stormy setup late Monday will lead to widespread rainfall on Tuesday.
Warm temperatures mark the first day of meteorological summer
It’s a warm start to meteorological summer, with temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 80s. Monday will bring even hotter conditions, with highs reaching into the 90s, along with the potential for strong storms. A cool down is expected by Tuesday with temperatures returning to the 60s and 70s.
