Clouds continue the next few days, with a chance for widespread light snow Thursday into Friday. By the weekend, temperatures soar and a little more sunshine returns.
Our trend of a stagnant air mass bringing low clouds, fog and even some flurries continues Wednesday. Temperatures start to rise slightly ahead of a big weekend warmup.

Cooler air returned temperatures across Minnesota back to average Tuesday, but a big warmup is in store by the weekend. Accumulating snow chances remain limited all week.
Minnesota is starting off again with a very low layer of clouds that is producing scattered flurries across the state Tuesday morning. While the flurries should end by late morning, the clouds stick around all day.
We aren’t expecting any huge temperature swings this week, but you’ll notice higher temps late in the week and into the weekend. We had a much colder end to January last year, and we’ll revisit that.
