One last hot, dry day before a cooler, stormy pattern takes hold
Wednesday will be the last mostly sunny, dry and hot day for a bit. Our chances for rain and thunder increase Wednesday night into Thursday and will be followed by much cooler weather. 
Hopeful signs for much needed Minnesota rainfall over the next 10 days
Our record heat and very dry air masses give way to rainfall chances through the next 10 days. It may not be enough to quench the whole state, but many areas could see at least a couple inches of rain through next week.
Heat, fire danger linger Tuesday; rain, cooler temps on the way
Rinse and repeat. Another hot, breezy day with critical fire conditions, especially in western Minnesota. We are on track for a shift toward cooler weather and needed rain by late week.

Fire crews are contending with another day of volatile fire conditions in northeast Minnesota on Tuesday, as they continue to battle large wildfires that have burned more than 20,000 acres and dozens of structures.
Crews continue battling wildfire near Brimson, at least 3 homes and cabins burned
The Camp House Fire near Brimson has grown to 750 acres as of Monday morning. It was zero-percent contained as crews worked on the ground and from the air to douse the flames. Meanwhile, another large wildfire started Monday just a few miles away.

It’ll be another hot day Monday with lots of sun, gusty winds and low humidity. Critical fire weather conditions persist Monday and Tuesday. Thunder is possible Wednesday night.

A fast-moving wildfire fueled by tinder-dry conditions and gusty winds prompted the evacuation of homes and cabins northeast of Duluth on Sunday. It was one of at least two large wildfires in Minnesota on Sunday.
