Expect a pleasant weekend as temperatures approach our seasonal averages. Increased moisture and instability will lead to a few pop-up showers and thunderstorms.
Temperatures in the low 80s will become more widespread this afternoon in Minnesota. Dew points will also increase heading into the weekend also increasing spotty thunder chances.
Temperatures will start a slow and modest warming trend. We’ll continue with more sunshine Thursday and Friday. Isolated thunder is possible this weekend.
If you don’t like the heat, it’s been your summer. Cooler-than-normal temperatures will prevail the rest of the week, along with dry conditions and partly cloudy skies.
