Twin Cities on edge of heavy snow zone as winter storm moves in
A fast-moving winter storm is expected to brush the Twin Cities on Tuesday, putting the metro on the edge of a narrow band of heavier snow sweeping across central Minnesota. Milder temperatures ahead of the system are expected to complicate the forecast.
Warmer Monday and Tuesday with a couple rounds of snow ahead
The week starts warmer but ends colder. The pattern also remains active with disturbances bringing snow chances late Monday, Tuesday and Thursday this week. 
Warm temps early this week followed by parade of snow systems
Following several cold weeks, we’ll see a noticeable warmup to start the week. Temperatures then return to seasonal levels near the freezing mark as multiple clipper systems move through, bringing the potential for heavier snow and mixed precipitation.

Yet another round of snow will fall Saturday into Sunday, this time in southern Minnesota. More cold air moves in behind for tonight and Sunday. There are more chances at snow next week. 
Weekend clipper prompts advisories as cold air moves in
A surge of cold air arrives Friday night, setting the stage for a chilly weekend across the region. Southern Minnesota may see another half foot of snow as a quick-hitting clipper system sweeps through the region late Saturday.
A couple more rounds of snow and cold Friday into the weekend
The active and cold pattern continues. Friday will be briefly warmer and near 30 degrees ahead of another round of snow showers. More snow showers are possible Saturday followed by cold. 
Chilly start, warmer finish; snow chances ahead
After a brisk start Thursday, milder air arrives tonight ahead of light snow from a fast-moving Friday clipper that could drop several inches across central Minnesota.
Temperatures rise through Friday with light snow
After a chilly start Thursday, temperatures will slowly rise throughout the day with highs set near midnight. Light snow could be just enough for slippery roads Friday morning.
