Spotty showers possible south Saturday; brighter Sunday
A fast-moving disturbance will touch off some spotty evening and overnight showers. Cooler air moves in behind that for Sunday but, so too, does abundant sunshine.
Warm Friday ahead of a cool front with spotty showers
A cool front associated with the latest low pressure area to our north will swing through Friday, touching off spotty showers and keeping things warm ahead of it. 
Fall drought continues to expand
The most recent drought monitor shows that drought conditions are worsening across Minnesota, particularly in the north-central and southwest regions.
Warmer Thursday and Friday with occasional showers
We have some scattered showers lifting north Thursday along with a warmer air mass. More showers will be possible Friday as a cold front moves through. 
Highs in the 70s return Thursday and Friday in the south
A warm front will push milder temperatures into Minnesota to close the week. The weekend is trending cooler.
First soaking rain in over 3 weeks for southern Minnesota
Our latest weather system brought the first significant rain in over 3 weeks to much of southern Minnesota. Little rain fell in the droughty north.

Lingering clouds Wednesday, then warmer and more showers Thursday
After a few morning showers, clouds will mostly linger across southern Minnesota Wednesday. Thursday will bring warmer temperatures, but also the chance at more showers.
