A bit warmer Tuesday as high pressure slides southeast
Temps will be a bit warmer today and tomorrow before cooling off slightly again late week behind a ‘back door’ cold front. Northeast Minnesota may see a few showers Wednesday.
Warming trend kicks in; mostly 70s this week
Our late summer air mass this week features highs in the 70s with limited rain chances.
Bright and cooler than normal to start the week
Cooler than normal temperatures will continue for the early week. Temps will gradually warm to near-normal, which is the upper 70s by mid to late week.
Chilly night ahead with frost likely in the Northland
A cool Canadian air mass will keep conditions quiet and crisp to start the week. Overnight lows will fall into the 40s under clear skies, with this cooler, calm stretch continuing through the end of August.
Breezy and cooler with increasing cloud cover
Cooler temperatures, increasing clouds, and brisk northwest winds will keep summer on pause through mid-week, as Canadian high pressure limits any meaningful precipitation during the final days of August.
Cool and calm tonight, staying chilly tomorrow
After a breezy Saturday, winds are finally beginning to ease across the region. Northwest winds are gradually diminishing this evening. As clouds continue to break up overnight, temperatures will slip into cooler territory.
Fall-like chill settles in for the weekend; blustery northwest winds
Unseasonably cool air settles in this weekend from Canada, sending temperatures 10–15 degrees below normal. Blustery northwest winds at 5–15 mph will add a noticeable chill.
