Thursday will be warm and muggy with sunshine. A cold front touches off showers and storms northwest to southeast late Thursday into Friday morning. Fall-like air moves in this weekend.

Get ready for a fantastic opening day at the Minnesota State Fair! With warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine on the way, Thursday’s shaping up to be the perfect day to enjoy all the fun, food and festivities. Here’s what the weather will look like hour by hour.
Above-normal temps through Thursday before a cool weekend
It will still be muggy Wednesday and Thursday, although not as humid as Tuesday. Areas of morning fog will burn off, giving way to sunshine. Much cooler air moves in this weekend. 
Warm, muggy overnight but cool air coming by the weekend
Dew points will drop a bit over the next 24 hours but the really dry, cool air moves in this weekend. Temperatures will be 10 to 15 degrees cooler than normal by Sunday. 
Surface high pressure brings drier, calmer weather
High pressure is bringing sunshine and dry weather after some early fog. Temperatures will be above normal through Thursday, but much cooler air arrives this weekend.
