Flood watch through early Thursday with more rain coming
We get somewhat of a break this evening and overnight from heavy rain in the Twin Cities. More rain is on the way Thursday ahead of a steamy weekend.
Significant rainfall for southern Minnesota Wednesday
Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will be with us Wednesday into Thursday morning across southern Minnesota. The weekend will be very warm and humid with spotty thunder.
Soggy Wednesday, Thursday with heavy rain potential
Hopefully you enjoyed a quiet, comfortable Tuesday. Muggy air and rain, thunder develop early Wednesday morning and we’ll have waves of moisture into Thursday. 
Comfortable dew points, quiet Tuesday ahead of soaking rains Wednesday
Enjoy comfortable dew points in the 50s Tuesday. Muggy air and significant rainfall return Wednesday and Thursday. We could be very warm again by the weekend. 
Active weather pattern brings frequent storms and cooler air
A break from the heat kicks off the work week, but the trade-off for cooler temperatures is a shift to a stormier pattern. A deluge of rain is possible by week’s end, with temperatures trending closer to seasonal levels.
Advancing cool front produces showers, storms with falling dew points
A cold front is bringing relief after a few hot, steamy days. More storms are possible in southeastern Minnesota Monday afternoon. Wednesday and Thursday look soggy with more rain.

A strong cold front is sweeping through the region, bringing the potential for severe storm along with much-needed relief from the recent heatwave.

We’re facing another stretch of dangerous weather. Excessive heat continues with triple-digit heat indices, and the potential for severe thunderstorms exists across much of the state.
No break from the heat: muggy night ahead
Record-setting heat during the day is carrying over into a very warm Saturday night, with overnight lows only dipping into the upper 70s to low 80s. Little relief from the heat is expected through the night.
Extreme heat warning with dangerous heat indices
An extreme heat warning is in effect as dangerously high heat index values between 105 and 110 are expected, driven by soaring temperatures in the upper 90s to low 100s and oppressive humidity with dew points in the 70s.
