Warm Sunday with plenty of sunshine
Above-average temperatures return to the forecast as highs warm into the 40s and 50s for Sunday. A significant spring storm system is starting to develop, bringing rain and potentially plowable snow by Wednesday.
Mild weather returns on Sunday with continued sunshine
Warmer temperatures are expected for Sunday, with highs returning to the mid-40s under sunny skies. However, our focus will shift to a storm system mid-week, which is forecast to impact a large portion of the Central Plains.
Chilly, sunny start to Saturday with below-normal temperatures
Happy first day of meteorological spring! Cold morning temperatures in the teens and single digits will lead to a below-average day, with highs only reaching the low 30s. Saturday will bring sunny skies and lighter north winds, ranging from 5-10 mph.
Wind advisory continues into Friday night; cooler temperatures for Saturday
Blustery northwest winds are blowing across the state Friday, with gusts reported over 60 mph! While the winds will gradually lessen through the evening, gusts will remain over 30 mph. Cooler air will follow the front, bringing chillier temperatures for Saturday.
Very windy Friday and briefly colder for Saturday
Winds will howl through the day Friday as briefly colder air slides in behind the disturbance that brought snow to northern Minnesota. Mild air will return Sunday. 
Breezy conditions Thursday night; precipitation chances northeast
Brisk northwesterly winds will persist through Thursday night and intensify by Friday with gusts potentially exceeding 50 mph. Snow showers are mainly expected in the northeastern part of the state with a chance of rain mixing in as temperatures rise overnight.
Above-normal temperatures continue; snow north Thursday night into Friday
It’ll be another mild day Thursday. Winds increase Friday as the next disturbance brings snow tonight for northern Minnesota. It will be followed by one day of colder temps Saturday. 
Wintry mix chances north with above-average temperatures
A gentle disturbance will bring a rain-snow mix to the Iron Range area on Wednesday night. Above-average temperatures will persist until Saturday, when we can expect a return to seasonal highs in the forecast.
Decreasing clouds Wednesday and continued mild
The mild stretch continues Wednesday and all week. Another disturbance will bring snow showers to northeastern Minnesota Wednesday night. 
Light rain overnight in Wednesday, some snow north
Our next disturbance will develop light rain showers from west to east this evening into the overnight. In northeast Minnesota it will mix with some snow.
