WHO, CDC: A record 40 million kids miss measles vaccine dose
The World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say measles immunization has dropped significantly since the coronavirus pandemic began, resulting in a record high of nearly 40 million children missing a vaccine dose last year.

Twin blasts shake Jerusalem, killing teen and wounding 18
Two blasts have gone off near bus stops in Jerusalem at the height of rush hour, killing a teenager and injuring at least 18, in what Israeli police said were suspected attacks by Palestinians.

Ukrainian authorities say an overnight rocket attack has struck a hospital maternity ward in southern Ukraine, killing a 2-day-old baby. The baby's mother and a doctor were pulled alive Wednesday from the rubble.
