Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, were fatally shot on June 14, 2025, in their Brooklyn Park home, and Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, were wounded at their Champlin residence in a series of politically motivated attacks allegedly carried out by Vance Boelter.
