A cool front will spark strong storms across Minnesota overnight into early Saturday morning. Then more Canadian wildfire smoke looks likely by Sunday.

France’s biggest wildfire of the summer has eclipsed the size of Paris and is still spreading
Authorities say France’s biggest wildfire this summer is spreading quickly in a Mediterranean region near the Spanish border after leaving one person dead. Authorities said the fire damaged a swath of land as big as Paris overnight. One person is missing and several are injured. 
Spotty shower and thunder chances with increasing heat, humidity
Some spotty showers and thunder are possible Wednesday. Dew points will continue to rise, making for a hot Thursday and Friday. Better chances of thunder develop Friday night into Saturday.
