After a chilly start, clouds will increase Thursday morning with rain developing later in the afternoon into tonight. Friday will be chilly before sun returns this weekend. 
Coldest night since May tonight with more rain late Thursday
Temperatures tonight will the be coolest yet this season. Lows will range from frosty north to the 40s south. Clouds increase Thursday with rain developing late in the day into Thursday night. 
Cooler and windy with lingering spotty showers Wednesday
Much cooler air has settled into the state. The cooler-than-normal temperatures persist into the weekend. We’ll see some lingering spotty showers Wednesday with more showers late Thursday. 
Evening storms ahead of much cooler air tomorrow
Scattered showers and storms will move through ahead of a big drop in temperatures. Highs Wednesday will be just in the 60s and 50s. Warmer air returns next week. 
Significant cold front brings thunder and much cooler air
We’ll have scattered showers and some afternoon and evening thunder ahead of a potent cold front. Much cooler air settles in for Wednesday through Saturday. 
Sunny Labor Day, then a taste of fall and storms this week
Labor Day will feel like late summer, but by midweek, expect a shift to fall-like temperatures and the possibility of storms across the region.
A beautiful end to August; fall changes ahead
After a perfect end to August, with sunshine and seasonable temperatures, a major pattern shift is on the way. A potent cold front will move through the region late Tuesday, bringing widespread light rain, gusty north-northwest winds, and a sharp drop in temperatures.
High pressure holds with late-summer sun
Late-summer weather continues to wrap up our long holiday weekend, with sunshine and seasonable temperatures in the mid to upper 70s thanks to high pressure centered over the Great Lakes. A taste of fall is on the way by midweek, bringing much cooler temperatures.
Patchy overnight fog possible as quiet Labor Day weekend unfolds
Overnight patchy fog will make for a calm start to Sunday, continuing a warm and comfortable weekend. Later in the week, a strong cold front will sweep in, causing temperatures to drop and widespread showers to develop.

Get ready for a classic late-summer holiday weekend. Temperatures will stay close to seasonal averages, warming into the mid to upper 70s, accompanied by plenty of sunshine and dry conditions through Sunday.
