A warm holiday weekend with shower chances for parts of Minnesota
Temperatures will be near or slightly above normal for the holiday weekend. There will be changes of showers in portions of the state at times. Much cooler air arrives next week.
Wrapping up the fair with a weather win
The final days of the State Fair are shaping up to be just as pleasant as the start, with more sunshine and seasonable temps on the way. A few light rain showers are possible Friday, but nothing that should soak your cheese curds, or disrupt your fair day plans. Expect highs in the mid to upper 70s, a slight uptick in humidity, and light winds out of the east to southeast.
Seasonable temps; monitoring a slow-moving weekend system
Temperatures will be near-normal south and west but cooler in northeast Minnesota. An isolated shower or two is possible Thursday and Friday, especially west and south.
Late summer air mass now; September cold front next week
Pleasant temperatures and humidity continue into the weekend. A few isolated showers linger into Wednesday night.
‘Backdoor’ cool front touches off showers, brings more cool air
A cool front diving south Wednesday will touch off some showers in parts of Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Today will be our warmest day ahead of it before temperatures dip a bit Thursday.
A bit warmer Tuesday as high pressure slides southeast
Temps will be a bit warmer today and tomorrow before cooling off slightly again late week behind a ‘back door’ cold front. Northeast Minnesota may see a few showers Wednesday.
Warming trend kicks in; mostly 70s this week
Our late summer air mass this week features highs in the 70s with limited rain chances.
