Still muggy Tuesday, but drier and cooler air is coming
It’ll still be muggy Tuesday but dew points will drop overnight into Wednesday. We’ll have several consecutive days of cooler temperatures and lower dew points. 
Severe weather risk favors southern Minnesota overnight
Strong to severe thunderstorms likely across southern Minnesota overnight. The highest risk zone favors areas south and southwest of the Twin Cities, but severe weather is also possible in the Twin Cities area.
What is a derecho?
A derecho is possible across central and southern Minnesota late Monday into Monday night, bringing a significant wind threat. Wind gusts over 75 mph are possible, along with heavy rain and embedded tornadoes within the line.
Hot, humid Monday with more severe storms developing
Monday will be another hot, humid day for southern Minnesota. Severe storms develop late Monday into Monday night. Cooler and drier air slowly builds in Tuesday into Wednesday. 
Tracking storms and heat into the workweek
Potentially severe thunderstorms are expected Sunday evening and night with damaging winds as the main concern. Monday brings more heat and evening storms.
Steamy stretch with rounds of strong storms Sunday and Monday
Heat headlines are in effect Sunday with heat indices pushing triple digits this afternoon. Potentially severe storms and heavy rain pass in waves this evening and again Monday night.

More spotty storms are possible overnight north. It will be very hot and and humid Sunday. Statewide chances of storms develop Sunday evening and overnight.
