High pressure will keep skies mostly clear Friday. Hot, humid air moves back in for the weekend with spotty storms north. Storms are likely Sunday night statewide.

Most of Minnesota now drought-free; northwest still dry
Nearly all of Minnesota is now drought-free, according to the latest drought monitor, except for a few counties in the northwest. Also, the latest rainfall totals are in from Wednesday’s heavy rain.
Dew points drop slightly Thursday and Friday before a steamy weekend
Clouds will decrease Thursday morning, making way for a pleasant afternoon and Friday. It will still be muggy but not as humid as dew points drop a bit. The weekend looks steamy again. 
Wednesday deluge causes flooding; drier days ahead
Wednesday's torrential rainfall caused flooding in many locations around Minnesota. we’ll see more sun into the weekend. But a new air quality alert has been issued for much Minnesota.
A potentially stormy Wednesday with more heat, humidity south
Scattered thunderstorms will move south and southeast near a slowly advancing cool front into Wednesday night. Some storms could be strong to severe with heavy rainfall.
