A stray kitten took a trip through Minneapolis under a Metro Transit bus
On Friday a Metro Transit bus driver heard a faint meow coming from under his bus and so began the rescue of Turbo, a gray kitten that rode under the bus from Minneapolis to Brooklyn Center.
Elizabeth Holmes sentenced to 11 years in prison for Theranos fraud
Holmes was convicted on charges related to defrauding investors who poured hundreds of millions of dollars into her blood-testing company, believing it would revolutionize health care.
Influenza hospitalizations are continuing to rise, according to the most recent state report, with a majority in the Twin Cities metro area. The report, which looks at the week ending November 12th, saw an increase of 243 influenza hospitalizations — more than doubling the previous week's numbers. 53 dogs that survived a plane crash are now up for adoption
All three people and all 53 dogs on the plane survived, although there were some minor injuries among both groups of mammals. The flight was bringing rescue dogs from New Orleans to Milwaukee.
