Multiple rounds of strong storms expected Sunday and Monday
After a warm and dry stretch, the weather pattern is set to become much more active heading into Sunday and Monday, bringing multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms along with the potential for severe weather across the region.
34 buildings damaged by wildfire near Two Harbors; Highway 61 still closed
In an update Saturday evening, Lake County and firefighting officials said the Stewart Trail Fire northeast of Two Harbors had damaged or destroyed 34 structures — eight “primary” structures, such as homes, as well as 26 outbuildings.
