End of week severe weather threat
Warm, humid air ahead of an approaching cold front could lead to dangerous storms Friday afternoon and evening.
Steamy with some storm chances, especially Friday night into Saturday
Dew points will be in the humid 70s Thursday and Friday. Heat indices could reach the triple digits Friday. Isolated to spotty storms are possible with the best chances Friday night into Saturday.
Better air quality forecast for most of Minnesota
Good air quality Wednesday across western half of Minnesota. But some wildfire smoke lingers in the northeast.
Spotty shower and thunder chances with increasing heat, humidity
Some spotty showers and thunder are possible Wednesday. Dew points will continue to rise, making for a hot Thursday and Friday. Better chances of thunder develop Friday night into Saturday.
Increasing storm chances with more humid air moving in
Temperatures and dew points will continue to climb the next day or two. That will also increase the chances of some thunderstorms Wednesday into Saturday.
One more comfortable day before sultry weather rolls in
We’ve been enjoying a nice break from the heat and humidity, but that comfort won’t last much longer. By midweek, sultry summer weather makes a return — and with it, better chances for scattered thunderstorms.
Showers mainly north and west Monday with muggy air returning
Showers will be possible north and west Monday as muggier air makes a return. Temperatures, dew points and thunder chances increase mid to late week.
