Hot and humid weekend brings potential for severe storms
Several rounds of thunderstorms are possible in the region from Friday night through Sunday. Some storms may be capable of damaging winds, large hail and possibly a tornado. It will also be rather steamy.
Another June soaker: Who saw the most rainfall?
Another round of heavy June rain swept across Minnesota this week, bringing impressive totals to parts of the state. We’ll also take a closer look at the latest drought conditions report.
Mainly dry Friday before a steamy, stormy first half of the weekend
Friday should be mostly dry with decreasing afternoon clouds. More storms are possible over the weekend, some could be strong to severe. It will also be humid. 
Tornado watch until 8 p.m. for southeastern Minnesota
Heavy rain and thunderstorms continue across southeastern Minnesota Thursday evening, with a tornado watch in effect until 8 p.m. Skies will gradually clear through the day on Friday, bringing dry conditions and some sunshine, though temperatures will remain below average.
More rain Thursday before a dry Friday
We’ll have another round of showers and thunder for Thursday that should wrap up by the evening. Friday will be mostly dry with decreasing clouds before a steamy and unsettled weekend.  
Flood watch through early Thursday with more rain coming
We get somewhat of a break this evening and overnight from heavy rain in the Twin Cities. More rain is on the way Thursday ahead of a steamy weekend.
Significant rainfall for southern Minnesota Wednesday
Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will be with us Wednesday into Thursday morning across southern Minnesota. The weekend will be very warm and humid with spotty thunder.
Soggy Wednesday, Thursday with heavy rain potential
Hopefully you enjoyed a quiet, comfortable Tuesday. Muggy air and rain, thunder develop early Wednesday morning and we’ll have waves of moisture into Thursday. 
Comfortable dew points, quiet Tuesday ahead of soaking rains Wednesday
Enjoy comfortable dew points in the 50s Tuesday. Muggy air and significant rainfall return Wednesday and Thursday. We could be very warm again by the weekend. 
Active weather pattern brings frequent storms and cooler air
A break from the heat kicks off the work week, but the trade-off for cooler temperatures is a shift to a stormier pattern. A deluge of rain is possible by week’s end, with temperatures trending closer to seasonal levels.
